Until the end of 2009, Ed Nash kindly maintained and hosted UK Cup database. From 2010 Duncan Archer is taking this over and the site is now hosted at http://www.ukcup.org.uk/. Many thanks to Ed for all his hardwork.
Points and positions for the 2009 series should now be final
Middle to come when the results are online in a suitable format.
Results from the 3 races at the JK 2009 in NEOA have been added. Please send notification of errors and omissions to the usual place!
Duncan Grassie was re-instated on M21E after originally being DSQ due to an SI failure.
Standings for 2008 should now be final. As always, please let me know of any errors.
Unfortunately there was an error in the scoring for the Fantasy UKCup. Subbed/substitute runners' contributions were being correctly calculated, but runners who were not subbed were being credited with all race scores contributing rather than the best six. This has now been corrected and the scores adjusted.
as always, please notify errors, omissions and any veterans and juniors not being shown as such
as always, please check your results for errors.
please also let me know the year of birth for any juniors and veterans not appearing as such in the standings - as the ukcup.db is entirely separate from the british orienteering members database then these are not automatically known!
set up details for fukc 2008 with new sponsors and new online payment system
After a few corrections, the 2007 series results should now be complete and correct.
... to include the 18-35L classes which were on the same course as the Elite and therefore also get points (those runners that were fast enough, at any rate!)
(Andrew Kitchen, Sarah Dunn and Jenny Peel were previously not listed!)
also rationalised the clubs - let me know if your club is now wrong!
...and hopefully sorted out one or two bugs, but still need to sort out clubs for some runners
Due to my being lazy inputting the dates of events, some fantasy team scores were slightly wrong (due to substitutions falling before or after races). This has now been corrected.
BEOC Sprint and Rowney Warren WRE results now added
note that for the BEOC Middle Distance, all classes running the open courses have been counted for ukcup results and not just the elite classes
hopefully fixed a bug preventing fantasy team runner substitutions
a bugfix to fix the new bugs introduced in the last-but-one bugfix
plus finally (hopefully!) fixed the fantasy standings bug
I had some trouble uploading particularly day 2 results - please check that everything is present and correct!
following the cancellation on 18th march due to snow, the 2006 jok chasing sprint has been rescheduled for 22nd april. the race will remain part of the ukcup series.
no replacement is planned for the sroc whitbarrow national event originally scheduled for 19th march 2006.
the JOK Sprint and SROC Whitbarrow National Event on 18-19th March 2006 were both cancelled due to snow. the organising clubs are currently invesitgating whether they can still be staged this year. subject to suitable dates being found, the re-arranged races may still be part of this year's uk cup.
check back later for updates!
the new scoring system awards 51 points for 3rd place, not 50 as was previously stated on the rules page
added lots of functionality - hopefully everything still works!
